A UNIQUELY QUALIFIED ADVOCATE
Beginning at age 16 sorting fruit at a local fruit shed, working as a
seamstress, or tending to cars at my dad’s gas station, I have a long and
diverse work history. I’ve worked in retail and outside sales and
eventually, after graduating from CSU Chico, spent years as a banker and
ultimately founded an interior design manufacturing company. This
diversity of experience is instrumental in my ability to effectively apply
Social Security Law according the needs of each individual and their
unique circumstances.
MORE ABOUT RHONDA WILSON
Born in the foothills of Auburn, California, I grew up in a rural setting including 4-H projects, sewing,
horses, camping, and hiking.
Determined to attend college, I was self-supporting through Sierra Junior College and California State
University, Chico. As it happened, I was the first in my family to graduate from college with a Bachelor
of Science degree.
It was witnessing hundreds of cases, working as a hearing monitor side by side with judges, which
ignited my passion for becoming a non-attorney advocate. It was 2009 that I began working as an
advocate and 2013 when I passed the Professional Representatives Act with flying colors. Being an
advocate isn't only a career for me, it's a lifestyle. An 80% win-rate, a background in other vocations,
and hundreds of cases underneath my belt is what makes me the strongest advocate I can be.
